Our global data coverage at a glance.

Here you can instantly see where in the world you can access our high-resolution weather and irradiation data. We already cover all of Europe, Africa, and many other regions and are continuously expanding our availability. Simply check your project location and gain immediate confidence for your planning.

Your location is not included?

No problem. Our world map is constantly growing and your needs help us prioritize. Contact us and let us know which region you need – often an expansion is already planned.

Precision begins with the right data source.

An accurate PV simulation depends on the quality of the underlying weather and irradiation data. That’s why at pvnode, we leave nothing to chance. Instead of relying on a single global data source, we have established a rigorous process to ensure that the best possible data foundation is used for every location. The result: maximum accuracy and results you can trust.

Our approach for maximum accuracy

Continuous benchmarking for each region

The global data market is complex and diverse. A data source that delivers excellent results in Southern Europe may not be the best choice for Scandinavia or Central Africa. That’s why we continuously conduct internal benchmarks, comparing leading global and regional datasets. Our system then automatically selects the data source with the highest proven precision for your requested location. This way, you always get the best possible quality without having to become a data expert yourself.

Intelligent combination of satellite and ground data

Our primary basis is high-resolution, satellite-based datasets that enable us to provide comprehensive coverage of the regions shown above. To further increase the accuracy of this data, we specifically validate and calibrate it with measurements from ground stations, where available. This hybrid approach combines the widespread availability of satellite technology with the pinpoint precision of terrestrial measurements.
