WHY IT WORKS
Models trained on system data learn the faults in. Shading, soiling and degradation end up in one blurred correction.
A physical model knows what a fault-free system delivers under the given weather. The difference to your measurement becomes a signal, and the causes stay separate: geometry, performance, shading.
